Keep your legs in good shape during your next battle with the help of this excellent medieval armour padding. The Arthur Padded Greaves are ideal for keeping your re-enactment armour from chafing or pinching as you fight. The leg protection is back-stitched in a diamond pattern that provides maximum flexibility without diminishing the effectiveness of the padding. A pair of buckled straps on the back side fasten the padded greaves while allowing some adjustment of the fit. The Arthur padding comes in black or brown color options.

I fit these comfortably under my Adam greaves to provide some extra cushioning on my lower legs. The greave straps were plenty long enough to go around them.

These pair amazingly with the rest of Mytholon’s Arthur Set. The design and feel goes perfect with the Arthur Padded Gambeson which I own. They fit snugly, are well padded, and are well built, as are most things from Mytholon. I would say im surprised by the quality but i’ve come to expect such amazing things from Mytholon. If you’re looking for a nice pair of greaves at a low price point, these will work amazingly.

  3. Joshua Taylor (verified owner)

Great fit and very comfortable, but the prong on the buckles isn’t long enough to keep the buckle fastened. The strap easily falls out of the buckle if tugged.

  4. Nick O’Brien (verified owner)

They’re comfy and have a nice snug fit, but aren’t quite long enough to pad certain metal greaves and if you have them tight there’s a lot of strap hanging loose. I also had an issue with one of the buckles, but it was easy to fix.
