CHECK FOR NAILS! ive ordered many types of hobnailed shoes before and for ones not made on a industrial scale this is common, but always check! there where two nails right in the heel area that where sticking out of the sole, could easily hurt your foot if not careful. this issue can be remedied with a small hammer and finishing nail punch. also if your shoe size is a size and a half, get the size one half small, they will easily have enough room for your foot. so in place of a 10.5 get the 10. if you want room for a winter stocking then get the half size bigger, fits the stocking better. in short very nicely made boots and help me finish my 15th century kit. ive been waiting exactly one year for these things to come back in stock and couldnt be more pleased!
