The robe is of very good quality with a bit a weight to it. Not so much as to be overly hot. Hint as to sizes: I am 6′ 4″ and have 46 inch chest and 35-36 inch sleeve length. The XXL size is a little long in body and sleeve but not bad. XL might have fit but I believe it was the correct size for my 46″ chest. I am well pleased with the purchase.

Absolutely incredible. Couldn’t be happier. I, too, am 6’4″ and based on another recommendation, opted for the 2XL (along with the 3XL cloak), and the size is perfect. It’s just loose enough, but with a belt, and the cloak, it looks perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for.

The wizard robe truly is high quality – the cut and stitching is flawless, and the medium-weight material is both breathable and comfortable. I was concerned, as a guy standing but 5’5”, that it might be too long in the sleeves and body, but the size-small I ordered fits just right. The sleeves stop right at my wrists, and the body drapes to about half an inch above the floor in bare feet. So no need to have it hemmed, which is a relief. The lace-up collar is also comfortable, neither too large nor small. Highly recommended!

Superb! This is cotton and very well made. I ordered the medium in grey and, at just under 6-ft, the length is enough to not drag when worn with some boots.
Worn to an all day festival in 65+ F weather in the sun with cloak and it was warm but tolerable. The hood on the cloak actually kept me from getting too hot.
Four-stars because the item did not come with laundry instructions and I used some detergent with ‘brighteners’ which caused some pink blotches in the fabric. I have been able to repair most of it with some grey dye but be forewarned and use only hand-wash detergent and no brighteners.
If the length is too long, try drying under heat to shrink the fabric. To avoid shrinkage, use cold water wash and dry in the sun.

What an amazing robe! The cut and fit are great, the fabric is high quality and it is so comfortable to wear!
I am 6’5″ with 24″ shoulders. After reading some of the earlier reviews, I opted for the XXXL. Well, after washing and drying on high heat, it now fits perfectly. Be aware that the robe is made to be “flowing”, and as such, runs large.
I cannot wait for faire this year. This robe is truly magical!

Construction quality is good, though as a medium person that’s “only” 5’10”, it was way too long. A word or caution that takes this down a star for me is that while the fabric is cotton, the thread is not. This meant that after dying, the exposed stitching I didn’t replace while hemming will need to get covered up or replaced.

Ordered a second one, this time in white and in 2XL instead of 3. It fits perfectly with no need to shrink it in the dryer. The quality is exceptional! The entire piece just feels like a high quality item, and it is! The cotton breathes well, but I would still recommend wearing something very light underneath on hotter summer days, as it can get warm. The form and fit is ideal, being nicely accommodating for my wide shoulders and height. If a wizard is what you are looking to be, this robe will get you half way there!

wonderful quality! decent weight! I wear this for my daily walks! the cloak too 🙂 I am 6 feet tall I got the largest size and then had it tailored on my end. fits great, works well!
my only suggestion would be a similar looking robe in lighter material for hot summer days! while wearing clothes underneath this (shorts/t-shirt) with the cloak (IMHO) this outfit tops out around 75F/80F or 24C/27C ish
