Taichi Katana by Cold Steel

When you want to fight as a mighty samurai or Japanese warrior, ensure that you wield a blade like the Taichi Katana by Cold Steel. Made from Damascus steel, this functional sword features a curved blade, typical of Japanese swords. A fuller runs along the length of the clay-tempered blade. Also, the blade has a convex grind and a visible temper line.

The sword has a brass blade collar before a matching crossguard, or tsuba. Then, the hilt features a wrapped hardwood handle. Black silk wraps around the white ray skin on the handle. The brass fittings on the handle have a black lacquered finish.

Finally, this sword comes with a hardwood scabbard. The scabbard has a terra-cotta lacquered finish. It has brass tips, or koiguchi and kojiri. They also feature a black lacquered finish. You can take this samurai sword to your next historical reenactment or battle.
