At the base, below Hector, the iconic Greek helmet lies on its side to represent those fallen in the Siege of Troy. A realistically carved piece of rubble is next to the helmet, symbolizing the inevitable fall of Troy. Plaques in front read “ACHILLEUS” and “HECTOR” in Greek-style font.
