Our Simple LARP Sword is from our Ready for Battle line. The Ready for Battle line is a less expensive line that is still durable and made of quality foam, but is not as detailed as our other lines making them very affordable and great for beginners or those on a small budget. This sword features a classic medieval design with simple lines. With the simple design, it can be used for just about any character or theme.
The hilt and pommel comes in gold, silver, or bronze. Handle colors may vary as well. Unfortunately we are unable to pick specific color combinations for orders.
The sword is approximately 29.25 inches in overall length. This measurement will vary as they are handmade items.
Latex weapons do need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a 100 ml LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) that can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. We recommend you use the silicone on a regular basis. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and make the weapons last much longer. The maintenance silicone protects the coating from drying out, and helps the weapon resist wear and tear.

These swords are very simple, but they look great, and they’re very sturdy. I ordered two of these, though I ended up with three because another model of sword I was after was on backorder. These swords are being used for stage combat in a youth Shakespeare production, and I would heartily recommend these weapons for youth stage combat. The kids can’t permanently damage themselves or each other without trying really hard, and the swords look great onstage. They’re also really lightweight, which makes them easier for smaller people to fight with.

Very nice low budget beginner’s sword, great for someone just getting into LARPing. Simple design as the description suggests, but good construction. I ordered 2 since my character duel wields, and I was very pleased with them. Will likely order more of these. My nephews love them, and I keep finding them running around the yard, “slaying” each other. 🙂

The sword looks longer in the picture. This is actually a good short sword, but not a long sword.
