Use the product that many museums, conservators, and more use across the world to protect antiques. Get 200 ml of Renaissance Wax for your special gear. This widely used wax helps to restore and protect a wide variety of products. The 200 milliliter container even displays its Royal Warrant by the Queen of England on its lid. The wax has a semi-synthetic, micro-crystalline formula. This formula is free of any acids commonly found in other polishes based on beeswax or carnuba wax. By being free of acids, the formula reduces possible damage to the item its applied to. It has a matte finish if left unpolished, but buffs to a high gloss finish. The wax provides a barrier against fingerprints and moisture. Finally, the formula has no added fragrance. You can use it to protect your armour, swords, and more.

I’ve been using Johnson’s paste wax for as long as I have had my armour (2022). I once read that it’s supposed to be less expensive, but I’m not sure if it’s a significant difference anymore. Maybe it used to be. If this Renaissance Wax is a little more expensive, it’s worth it! Johnson’s wax smells strong and unpleasant, but this Renaissance Wax has only a slight smell, and it’s not bad. It makes the metal look very refined, and when it hardens it doesn’t leave fingerprints all over it. Yes, it is expensive, but I don’t know of a better alternative than this! Take care of your armour and God bless you! 2 Timothy 2:11-13

I am new to polishing and waxing armor; but I am certain that squires through the ages would have loved this! It goes on easy ( apply a thin layer) and buff it out. Done. And it is durable. A second coat is recommended, just make sure to give the first coat 10-15 min to dry. The smell is light and not unpleasant, but you might still want to use this outdoors or in a well ventilated area. Overall, very satisfied: simple to use, durable and inexpensive ( especially compared to the price of rust). I highly recommend!
