As you head into battle, you know that you do not fear attacks from the enemy. You wear the Milanese Greaves to protect your legs. Made from 16-gauge steel, these medieval greaves come as a pair. Based on a 15th century original, these greaves secure to the legs with straps.
The greaves provide full coverage with a hinged design. The sides of the greaves curve to match the shape of calves. At the top of each greave, there is a convex curve. Near the ankles, the greaves have curved cutouts for greater mobility.
Wear these greaves with your armour ensemble. They are great for a historical reenactment. The Milanese Greaves look wonderful at a faire or LARP event. They match the Milanese Suit of Armour (AB0063), sold separately.
