This robe’s material is not made of cheap cotton like the other person claims. It is exactly as it should be.

I own the white, black and Green of this set. All are very high quality cotton! The white is very white, the black is deep and dark all the hoods match perfectly. A button is facing in to fasten it without being visible which I find very cool. The strings on the hood are just decretive I personally will remove them. Also it does machine wash very well and holds colors, but it will shrink a bit. If you plan on washing in this manner you should get it a bit bigger than you think you need. I would suggest that you buy this set if you are looking at the Celtic ritual robe, and think you might like a hood. Though your dressmaker makes both the robe, hood and sells them separately you can ensure better color matching. I already had some green Celtic ritual robes without hood though almost exactly the same. the shade of them are slightly different so if I wore the hood with the robe that didn’t come with the set it doesn’t match so well. I have and I would definitely buy this again
