It looks exactly as pictured, inside & out. This is a great journal for your Ren Fest outfit. The leather is beautifully decorated with such a busy design that it could easily belong to & be appreciated by a male or a female journalist. The floral design does not make it appear strictly feminine. And, the decledged paper is the icing on the cake. It has a historically authentic look & feel. The size is just about perfect. Not too big or small. I would definitely buy this again. Highly recommended.
