I like it
As a shield it is sturdy, with good straps, good holding position, well weighted and large enough to be quite protective
As a canvas, it is an infinite array of possibilities, heraldry, artwork, iconography, or anything else you can think of can be painted on this shield

I have purchased three of these over the years and they are absolutely outstanding. The consstruction is neutral enough to work for a wide variety of periods, it’s comfortable and well made, and the leather straps are of a very high quality. I’ve used them for everythign from SCa combat with soem addional edge padding to historical reenactment and have loved the thick canvas for both protection and a perido look and feel. Well worth the price, as they are light, durabvle, and very well made. The white canvas takes paint and eecoration well and relaly adds the final touch to a great living history kit.
