Knights Medieval Hood
This hood has a very authentic look to it, making it great for archers or knights. The hood has a full mantel that covers the shoulders. Made of a felted wool blend and lined with cotton, this is a quality hood and is very comfortable to wear. The full mantle covers the shoulders, while the roomy hood conceals the face. The pointed tail of the hood, also known as a liripipe, reaches to approximately the shoulder blades. The hood comes in many rich and vibrant colors. White stitching accents the brim of the hood and runs along the trim of the mantle, which adds a very nice touch. This hood is great for cold and windy weather as it closes all the way up to the neck.

My 11 year old son loves this hood. It is very well made & the fabric is very good quality. It is very warm & provides full head & neck coverage. He wears it with his “ready for battle cape” & it looks great. He was very excited to get it for Christmas.

This is a very nice high quality hood. It is very thick and warm. The small/medium is more of a child size. I couldn’t image it would comfortably go onto an adult sized head, I had to exchange it for the large/x-large which fits perfectly.

Excellent quality hood! As mentioned numerous times already, the wool is a good thickness that strikes the right balance between being warm enough to use & thin enough to properly drape down over your shoulders. The cotton liner underneath & the stitching on the hem are perfect for giving it that medieval vibe. The hood itself is deep & generously proportioned. I feel you would have enough room to wear a helmet or something & still be covered. Without wearing any head gear, it could conceal most of your face & only expose your mouth & jawline, if you wanted. Or, you could wear the hood higher on your face, but the weight of the long Liripipe tail tends to pull it all the way back off of your head after a while. The neck hole is narrow. I ordered the Large/XL & I had just enough room to fit my 23-inch head through the hole. There was a little room to spare, but not much. I would buy this again without hestiation. The Dark Red one is next on my list.

I am so happy with this hood! As others have said, it’s very thick and quite toasty.
I purchased it in the hopes that it would match the red Aramis Doublet and, much to my surprise, it matched down to the color and material!! It’s the perfect match; the perfect companion piece!!
