John Coxon is known for abducting the governor and the bishop of Santa Maria to Jamaica. He was a late 17th century buccaneer who lived during the Buccaneering Age of Piracy. Coxon quarreled with the other buccaneer captains resulting in them moving in their separate ways and to this date no one knows what happened to John Coxon and his ship.

The John Coxon Shirt is just what I anticipate. The fit is true to size. I am 6’1” about 189 lbs., 41” chest and 34 “waste. I ordered the large but it was too big for my taste so I returned it for a medium and it fits great. Customer service was beyond expectation in understanding my situation and easily working the return process. I received a replacement shirt in three days which surprised me. The material is well made Rayon with a nice sheen to it to it looks great. This can be worn in all season but will be cool in lower temperatures. The only negative I have is the draw strings are a bit worn looking and may break after repeated use. We will see but I am sure I can replace them easily with a heavier material. I look forward to wearing it at the Maryland Ren Fest beginning in late August. This shirt looks authentic and will last for years.
