Mimicking the design elements of its larger relatives, the Highland Dagger is a perfect small blade to accompany an ultimately larger and far more intimidating weapon. The hilt is set entirely in cast-metal, with various patterns and designs running the length of the grip, providing not only a secure surface to hold but also an intricate piece of work to enjoy, visually. The pommel is spherical and continues the design patterns carried over from the grip, as does the guard, which has the distinctive sloping quillons terminating in quatrefoils. The blade is stainless steel and left plain, giving the impression that while somewhat decorative, this dagger can also be used. The sheath of the Highland Dagger continues the previous pattern, with cast-metal designs and a single trefoil design at the tip.

This dagger is best for the looks. The blade does not come sharpened which does not really matter. The dagger is very light, and is off balance. If you want a dagger to display I totally recommend this! Over all I’m happy with this dagger!
