Designed by Gil Hibben, this bushcraft machete features a unique 1075 high carbon steel blade with a sturdy hardwood grip and excellent value for your survival gear. The grip, complete with concave finger sections, is made of walnut hardwood, guaranteeing a sturdy and secure hold. At the bottom of the hilt is a useful lanyard hole.

The handle is secured on three points by nickel silver fittings. The bevel has a distinct hammered finish along its full length. Just above is a stainless steel guard with a solid thumb rise jutting out on the other side. That guard curves upward, facing the blade, and ensures your finger doesn’t slip onto the sharpened edge during use. Moving down the length, the fully sharpened dao-style blade has a hollow grind.

To store this steel machete when not in use, slip it into its sheath. The sheath is made from heavy duty nylon. On the inside, it has a PVC blade liner. It also has lashing grommets and lashing paracord.
