English Aristocrat Shield

With the English lion as your banner, you head into combat, carrying the English Aristocrat Shield to protect yourself from the enemy. This medieval shield features a layered wooden construction. 16 thin layers of wood form the shield for additional durability and reduced weight. The heater-style shield has a convex-curved top edge. Its sides curve inward to form a point at the bottom. Heavy cotton covers the front of the shield. This shield has a golden stripe running horizontally across the middle. A black lion stands passant on the golden stripe. It faces left. Also, the shield has a battle-worn look with faux scrapes and cracks.

On the back, rivets secure the cotton around the edges of the English Aristocrat Shield. The back also has a closed-cell foam backing covered in full-grain leather. The black leather matches the adjustable strap for securing the shield onto an arm. There is also a wooden grip for grasping the shield. You can take this functional shield onto the battlefield at a historical reenactment. The English Aristocrat Shield also makes a great cosplay accessory as well.
