This Large Sword Frog is designed to hang from your waist belt and will securely hold your sword in place. Please specify if you would like to have the frog for a left or right hand draw or straight up and down. The right handed frog is worn on your left side, for a right handed draw. The left handed frog is worn on the right side, for a left handed draw. It is available in black or brown with silver (steel) or gold (brass) hardware.

Designed for a broadsword. Leather is thick.

This sword frog looks nice, but when you have a heavy sword like mine (English Parliament Sword) it tends to overwhelm the frog and hang weird. It’s not quite firm enough under that sort of weight, so it gets all out of place. If you’ve got a lighter or shorter sword (Maybe more like a Gladius or Viking Sword) this would probably serve well, but for long and heavy blades, I’d look for something with thicker leather or held more firmly against the belt.

Made from nice, thick leather. Lacing is sturdy, very adjustable.

Adjusted fast to my halfling short swords sheath hangs nice on the belt I would buy another one

It’s nice for what it is. However I will likely be replacing the lacing with something that works better for my use (original lacing is not bad, just not what I need) and may add some kind of plastic on the inside to protect my LARP sword from abrading against the rough leather. But this frog is more than what I expected for the price!
