This is our popular Double Wrap Sword Belt with Celtic knotwork embossed on the belt. From the early B.C. Celts to well past the Renaissance, warriors figured out that a double wrap belt was a more comfortable way to carry a sword. But it was in medieval times that the practice really flourished.
When the extra length of belt wraps around a body the second time, both hips then support the weight of the sword. This belt provides great balanced suspension. It includes a sword frog that will fit all scabbards. It is made of beautiful top grade leather. You can wrap the belt around so you can wear the frog on either hip.

This is a well made product, but I ordered the Medium as I have a 35 inch waist. If you plan on wearing it over a gambison or armor, depending on your waist size, I would perhaps buy the next size up on the chart to give the extra room for the padding/armor. It took me a few minutes to get it on correctly, but it fits nicely and should serve well.

This is one snazzy belt. I love the look of it, especially over my chainmail. My synthetic Viking sword fit in nicely, but now I’m looking into a Celtic style sword to go with it better.

I have tried other systems, but this one seems to work the best for me!
