The ancient Celts had a horned god called Cernunnos. He was the god of the forest. The Celtic Cernunnos Trinket Box depicts that mythical figure. Made from polystone, the lid of the hand-painted box shows the god sitting on the forest floor. He has antlers coming out of his head as well as furry legs that end in hooves. He holds a torc in one hand and a snake in the other. A bear stands on the right of the figure while a wolf stands on the left. Further in the background is a stag. This removable lid has an arched outline. Three of the sides are straight with the fourth rounded. Next, Celtic knotwork patterns adorn the sides of the grey box. A circular knot sits in the center of each side surrounded by additional knotwork. Add this trinket box to your home or office decor. It makes a great Wiccan collectible.
