I love the simple, authentic design of this medieval, man-purse. The leather loop & wooden dowel locking feature really enhances that vibe. There is clearly enough room for a phone, wallet, keys, cards, journals, & all those other things you need a place for when you’re at the Ren Fest. This is perfect for accenting my outfit with something attractive & functional, yet not overpowering. The leather on mine is different from the picture, though. The one in the picture is dark brown. It seems to have way more wrinkles, character, & a weathered appearance. Mine is a lighter shade of brown with a reddish hue. It’s also smooth, kind of stiff, & looks like it just came off of the crafter’s workbench. I wish the leather were a bit more pliable, but I look forward to breaking it in & softening it up on my own. It’s still a well constructed & durable bag.

Bag is perfect! It fit my 7×5 journal as well as other small things too! Great for the renaissance faire to blend in your costume and carry around valuables. Craftsmanship is really nice and leather is good quality!

Cool bag! Great clasp! Only thing i would say is that it is probably larger than a belt bag comfortably is so it may end up as kind of an over the shoulder slung bag (which is cool too)

Nice, affordable pouch. It’s one of the biggest belt bags I’ve seen! Haven’t put it to the test yet, but it can hold a lot! Mine was a bit shiny, but I always rough up my gear to make it look weathered, worn, and battle-damaged. The closure method is simple to operate and great for those in bulky costumes or who wear gloves with limited dexterity.

Great bag! Very roomy for a belt bag. I can even keep a small journal in it as another reviewer mentioned! great for keeping your stuff with you and still staying in character 🙂

I’ve been waiting for them to restock this bag and finally was able to purchase it and am so glad I did. This is not my first belt bag for ren faire, in fact I’ve had several, but each has left me wanting for one reason or other. This has fulfilled all my needs so far. It hangs securely at just the proper spot on the waist and does not flop all about like some bags I’ve had. The leather and stitching seems durable enough to not fall apart after a few uses like yet another belt bag I’ve had. The closure is secure enough without being a pain in the neck to open and close (yes, I’ve had one of those too.) And it is large enough to fit my phone and not be a struggle to remove it and put it back in. So, yay! for all of that. Plus, it is amply big enough to carry ALL of the stuff I need at faire. Here’s what it fits: my phone, wallet, keys, tickets and faire map, sunscreen stick, hand sanitizer, tissues, feminine products, individual wipe packets, spectacle cleaning cloth. Plus there’s room for a few more things. No longer must I ask the boyfriend to carry my keys in his pouch. It’s a great purchase. I highly recommend.

The bag is made with very good quality leather and it has enough room for all your trinkets. I will say I thought it would come looking like the image displayed which is more worn and weathered look but I still love the bag regardless.
