This journal is awesome — it has a very authentic, convincing look and feel to it, and it can be rolled up or kept in a more traditional journal style. I took a paintbrush to the pages with some coffee ground & water to give them a more distressed, antique vibe and the effect looks incredible, especially given the fact that the edges of the pages are already somewhat distressed looking. Excellent prop!

So many great things about this journal! The natural leather is amazing and the rugged cut of the paper gives it a very rustic feel. The cord is plenty long enough to wrap securely.
The only drawback that I found was how stiff it was on arrival. That still doesn’t detract from the rating because it is easily remedied by working the pages a bit, so just be aware that you may have to work it a bit to get the pages to lay like you want them to.
Overall, awesome journal that fits so many different outfits and characters perfectly!
