Panted by hand and sculpted to look like a real wooden rolling pin, this foam LARP weapon features a strong latex coating. Just take a closer look at the dark wood grain that covers its surface. When performing a live action battle, there is no need to spoil the fun with avoidable injuries. So, the next time those pie thieves invade your bakery, use this handy throwing weapon to chase them away.

Please be aware that these items are handmade. Slight deviations in pattern, color, and shape may occur.

Latex weapons do need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a Maintenance Silicone in our LARP Accessories section. We recommend you use the silicone on a regular basis. It has an easy, spray on application. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and increases the lifetime of the weapon. It also prevents the coating from drying out, and improves resistance to wear and tear.

The Baker Roll from Epic Armoury is a nice piece – designed as a thrower, but with enough heft to be used as a close quarters striker as well. It is coreless, as are the handles, so blocking with this piece may not necessarily be advised, but the soft yet firm foam structure holds well under most light to medium LARP combat uses. If you seek an unorthodox yet fun alternative to other thrown weapons, this is definitely a piece to add to your arsenal. And kitchen.
