The sheath was very well designed and is comfortable to wear. A slight inconvenience was that the straps were not cooperating when trying to buckle them in. The purchase was worth every bit of the money though.

I am very happy with this purchase, though I do have a slight complaint. I wish the buckles were a little larger but aside from that this is a great sheath and even fits a feder up to the shilt.

Needed a sheath for a sword in order to carry it at a Ren Faire. The variety that the belts provide for carrying is nice but a little tricky to figure out comfortably. The measurement for my sword was between the two lengths available in this style of sheath, so I bought the longer one and trimmed a couple inches off the top. I’ve since modified it a little more to use it in a proper sword belt. This sheath is rugged and a great quick fix, while also being easy to modify for any DIY centric people to customize for their purposes. I expect this to last me a very long time!

I got this universal suede scabbard/sheath mainly as a backup for adventuring in the rough since my original leather one from Darksword is way too nice for that.
Overall I am happy with the scabbard kit; the leather, stitching and buckles are all of decent quality, but it’s too bad that no instructions were included. Personally, I had to get creative while using the product photos from this website – I ended up with a simple over-the-shoulder setup that works. I am sure anyone can figure it out eventually. Giving 4-stars because it would have been nice if it came with a pictures/drawings of some ways to tie it and because the leather/suede and buckles could be a little nicer.
