Moving down to the crossguard, it has a rectangular cross-section and angles toward the blade. The quillons taper into notched designs for added detail. The center of the crossguard has notched ring guards on either side for deflecting attacks away from your grip.

The wooden, rectangular handle is wrapped in black leather and steel wire. The upper half of the grip is wrapped in leather and the lower is wrapped in wire. At the bottom, the threaded pommel is designed in the faceted scent-stopper style.
