The Agincourt Sword is an English-style single-hand sword, and commemorates one of the memorable battles of the Hundred Year’s War between England and France. The Agincourt sword is a tribute to the Battle of Agincourt that was on October 25, 1415. The Battle of Agincourt was a victory over France at the start of the English conquests during the Hundred Year’s War. The English Army of about 4000 men demonstrated the devastating power of the English Longbow against the French Army of 50,000 men under the command of Constable d’ Albret. Today, on a high beam above Henry V’s chantry at Westminster Abbey hangs the shield and helmet of the king and the sword is in Westminster Abbey Museum.
