No matter if you are a bard or warrior, you can dress up in great medieval style by donning the Black Yalon Deluxe Long Jerkin. Made from leather and split leather, this black jerkin comes in five sizes. It secures in front with six straps and buckles. Rivets attach the straps to the detailed front of the nobles vest.
There is a front panel that has an embossed foliage pattern. The sides of the front panel curve inward. The hem angles down towards the center and ends near the mid-thigh. There is a split in the middle of the hem in the front, sides, and back.
Meanwhile, the sides of the handmade jerkin have a suede-like texture. They match the short collar and cap sleeves. The sides lace up with leather ties. On the back, the embossed detailing covers the upper back. This medieval jerkin works well for Renaissance faires, LARP events, and historical reenactments.

This item is new to the Medieval Collectibles line-up. 1st, the Jerkin is well made with good stitching throughout. The embossing pattern is baroque with good relief. it has a rich feel with the soft suede vest base having even color all around. The high collar could be just a tad stiffer as it has a tendency to want to fold down. The full cowhide leather straps are not overly stiff or heavy, but not so thin that they want to fall flaccid once through the buckle. Overall it is a very nice design that is comfortable to wear in warm or cooler weather. This design would be correct for the early to mid renaissance.
