Ideal when you want an authentic-looking round shield, this LARP buckler displays a great wooden grain pattern over its front. The Woodgrain Ready For Battle Round LARP Shield displays a simulated metal strip around the edge of the design. The round LARP shield works great with medieval, Renaissance, Viking, or fantasy characters. It is crafted from hard EVA foam and coated with latex, ensuring it will offer great protection throughout your next battle.
Latex weapons need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a 100 ml LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) that can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. We recommend that you use this silicone on a regular basis. It will keep the coating flexible, which will make the weapon last much longer. The maintenance silicone also protects the coating from drying out and helps the weapon resist general wear and tear from normal use.

This shield’s not so knightly. If you’re seeking a more understated, primitive or “I’m-a-poor-foot-soldier” look…this shield’s for you. Aesthetically plain, but well crafted. Not too thick or heavy, yet can withstand a truck-load of abuse. The strapping that holds the shield to the bearer’s arm is fixed securely to the back of the shield. The strapping itself leaves a goodly amount of room for adjustment. A great value for the shekel spent.

I like this shield, at first I was a little wary at how flexible it seemed but once strapped on it works quite nicely. the wood grain looks amazing and for the price, this is an excellent introductory shield that works for a number of characters.
