West India Docks – Dickens Village by Department 56

West India Docks – Dickens Village by Department 56 makes a great addition to your Christmas Village display. Made from porcelain, this intricately detailed set includes two figurines. It has the dock house as well as a small sailing boat. Both richly colored figurines have a blue sea-like base.

Next, the dock house has a stone foundation with a wooden walkway. It features brick walls with a grey slate roof. On one side of the building, there is a set of double doors underneath a pulley and hook. The next side of the building has two sets of double doors, one of which is halfway open. One of the doors is open, revealing the light within the building. Windows on the building also help to reveal the light produced by a 120V bulb. A standard cord powers the bulb. Patches of snow adorn the roof of the building as well as a fish style weathervane.

Then, the boat features a furled sail as well as a piece of net. Two oars rest on the boat in case of low wind. Together the boat and dock house make the West India Docks set.
