This hand-and-a-half LARP weapon is historically inspired and crafted using cutting-edge processes that result in a sword that is highly durable, highly detailed, and a joy to wield.

Ateliers Nemesis Athena LARP Construction:

Part of the Athena line from Ateliers Nemesis, this hand-and-a-half LARP sword has its closed cell foam fused together during a thermoforming process. This results in a very sturdy, tear-resistant foam blade that surrounds a fiberglass rod core. The blade ends in a soft tip which is reinforced with a high weave polyester similar to Kevlar underneath the foam exterior.

The sword is both safe and strong enough to easily parry enemy blows! A unique weighting to the hilt also gives this LARP weapon a point of balance. The LARP bastard sword feels natural and authentic in the hand. You will feel just like you are wielding the real thing, simply made safe for LARP.

Made to withstand whatever battles you have in store, this low fantasy LARP sword features a latex-free waterproof coating throughout to help ensure the longevity of the safe foam weapon.

Weapon Details:

The long blade of this LARP bastard sword has notching and lines throughout that give the look of a trusted sword that has helped its wielder survive battle after battle. A subtle wash also gives the steel colored blade a slightly weathered appearance.

The blade shape itself features a fuller that starts wide near the hilt and tapers to a thin point further along the blade. The shape then changes to a diamond cross section with a ridge down the center right down to its tapered tip.

The hilt has a no-nonsense style that still brims with detail. The twisted quillons of the antique silver-colored guard curve towards the blade with rounded points. Then, the hand-and-a-half handle features ergonomic ridges and tapering between two smooth sections within its brown leather-like wrapping. The weighted hilt combined with this longer grip mean both impressive and variable maneuverability.

Finally, the twisted scent stopper pommel matches the silvery color of the guard, flaring out as it twists and creating a defined end to the hilt. This style is like that of some katzbalger swords, making this a great choice for a landsknecht LARP weapon.
