Made of 18-gauge steel and decked with rolled edges and rivets, the Warrior Gorget is a great addition to your defense. Its traditional, simple design goes with a variety of looks and is fully compatible with other Epic Armoury pieces. This neck armour features an elongated frontal plate and a shorter back plate. Adjustable leather straps at the shoulders hold them together and allow you to customize the fit. Two sets of D-rings make it easy to add pauldrons and other attachments. Wear it over a gambeson for maximum protection to your throat, neck, and thorax. Whether you become a warrior from the realm of high fantasy, or a knight from the Crusades, the Warrior Gorget is a fine piece to add to your suit of armour.

Care Instructions:
- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. Not a bad purchase for my first gorget. I would have preferred to get the leather straps in black instead of brown, but it’s still a very nice piece of armor just the same.

The piece came oiled and semi polished as described. The actual crafting on it is fine. A top notch piece for such a low price.
It appears the rivets around the bottom and top edges got in the way of the polisher so there are a few dull spots int he finish, and it came a bit flatter than I expected and I had to bend it around to fit my shoulders and neck.
Neither of these complications bothered me as it is, as I said, top notch piece for the low price.

Great piece, comes as advertised. As mentioned, will take some bending to get a perfect shape. Double check before putting it on, I had to file a bur off of one of the inside corners.

Yes, it fits with the warrior pauldrons. Yes, it’s possible to put the whole rig on by yourself (though not recommended.) If you’re going to go with just the gorget and the warrior pauldrons, it’s going to take a little bit of tweaking to get everything to sit right and put it all on without any help. Once you get that out of the way, they look great, don’t weigh you down, and don’t inhibit movement very much. A nice, thick gambeson makes them look even more imposing. And I have no idea how they got the fit in the picture because my straps are on the last whole and it still doesn’t fit that snug overlapping. Works though, all that matters.
