Next, the guard is a simple crossbar, with triangular cuts taken out of the terminals, adding a small touch of design. The grip extends only three-fifths the way down the hilt, being black ribbing to provide a secure grip, while the rest is cast metal.
The pommel mimics the design of the guards terminals. A flared crescent with the central triangle cut out, to provide a reduction of weight alongside a tasteful, yet unobtrusive design to an otherwise plain blade.
