The Twisted Vine Penannular Brooch looks like it transformed from a living vine into a metal brooch. People used similar styled brooches for centuries. This hand forged, wrought iron brooch features a twisted ring shaped which ends in two wavy tails. The brooch has a rough finish to showcase its forged appearance. A pin fastens the brooch by sliding along the outer ring. Many people from different eras and social classes wore similar brooches, making this pin a great accent for many different costumes. Elves, Romans, and other characters could wear this pin. This brooch is a great accent for fantasy conventions and historical reenactments.

Worked perfectly securing my homemade cloak. It is great looking, well-made, and durable. The pin is pretty large though so it works better with a thick lose weave. It will punch a decent sized hole in finer woven fabrics and you might prefer a smaller brooch for those.
