El Cid was one of the most famous figures in medieval Spain. The Tizona Cid Sword honors that warrior with a decorative design perfect for display. Made from stainless steel, this decorative Spanish sword features a double-edged blade.

Near the base of the blade, there is a black design. This design features scrollwork. In the center, it depicts a chalice, two heraldic lions, a fleur-de-lis, and a castle before a knight on horseback. There is also the Art Gladius logo.

The medieval sword continues with a curved brass crossguard. It curves towards the blade. A double eagle design adorns the guard. The eagles wings run onto the arms of the guard. There is a cross bar on one side of the blade.

The hilt continues with a black wire wrapped grip. It ends with a teardrop-shaped pommel with two large cutouts. Scrollwork adorns the pommel. Both the guard and pommel have an antiqued finish. This El Cid sword makes an ideal addition to any weaponry collection or medieval decor.
