Small Cernunnos Wall Plaque

The Celtic god Cernunnos went by many names, although two of the most commonly known titles were either The Forest Lord or The Horned God. Either is appropriate, when you consider the look of this natural yet wild looking Small Cernunnos Wall Plaque. This impressive accent recreates the Celtic god in all his glory, while also including various touches of symbolism, including various emblems that were associated with Cernunnos, when his faith was stronger. The plaque depicts a smiling man with a curled beard, with leaves adorning both sides of his face. Holly adorns the right side, while oak and mistletoe adorns the left. Two seven-tined horns grow from his head, and curled about these horns is a ram-headed serpent. A torc is worn about his neck, symbolic of his rulership, while seven coins are hidden throughout the piece, each one set with one of Cernunnos various symbols. The plaque is crafted entirely from fine resin materials, and it is offered in one of two finishes, either wood grain or stone. Both are quite appealing to see, and with either version of this Small Cernunnos Wall Plaque in your home, you can bring the Forest Lord into your life, perhaps to bring a little prosperity to your day and a healthy dose of Celtic design to your decor.
