The title of the Six Jolly Fellowship Porters came from the pages of Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens, his last novel. This fictional pub was based on those the author frequented and for which real pubs are named today. Fellowship porters were laborers who transported goods by carrying them, especially items like fish, fruit, salt, and coal. This porcelain gaslight pub displays very unique architecture with stonework, crevices, several doorways, and a bell. The upper story features diamond-cut windows as a touch of elegance. Fence post finials and a bit of greenery in the window boxes complete the design. This illuminated building includes a switched cord with bulb.
