Gauntlets do not just come in steel and other varieties of metal, especially not when leather can be just as protective and just as desirable. A Single Leather Gauntlet can be quite the accessory to have, creating a distinctive look that is all your own. As their name suggests, these gauntlets are sold individually, which means that these are perfect for armoring one hand, leaving the other free for use in a variety of tasks. The gauntlets are similar in construction to a metal gauntlet, consisting of leather plating that wraps around the forearm and wrist and secures in place, while also featuring shorter, segmented leather plates that protect the back of the hand, the knuckles, the thumb, and even the beginning of the finger. Short leather straps secure the gauntlets cuffs in place, while allowing for limited adjustment of sizing. The gauntlets are available in only one size, although they do come in brown or black. They also come in left-handed or right-handed varieties, allowing you to pick which hand you armour. Or, if you so desire, you can pick up two to wrap both hands in leather armour. Rogues and assassins might particularly benefit from just having a Single Leather Gauntlet, as it might be their off-hand, which frees up their main hand to perform more dexterous tasks, like picking locks, making poisons, and other nefarious purposes. Or perhaps you just want the distinctive look that comes from wearing just one gauntlet. Either way, it is your choice.

Add detail and comfort to your armoured look by wearing these gauntlets over a pair of our leather gloves.

The leather gauntlet was not exactly as I expected. The leather was stiffer than I expected and the sizing seamed a bit off. With some proper oiling and a little work I was able to fit it much better and am now very happy with the product. Not everything is perfect straight out of the box!, though I was given the impression of a slightly higher quality than what came out of the box. Over all I am in the end satisfied. Sincerely-Dylan-

To start, I ordered the Brown Left-hand version (they were and appear to continue to be out of the right hand). It is hardened leather which is really nice, gives it a good feel, look and a bit of protection (depending what you are doing). The cuff is not adjustable at all, which mean there is a gap between the cuff and your wrist. You could in theory had another attachment point if you really wanted it tight, but you would also need to trim the side of the gauntlet to avoid any overlap. Due to the hardness of the leather, it can be difficult to bend your hand back, not that you should need to much, and the knuckle guard works best if you are wearing gloves under this too. Overall, I am quite pleased with this item. It looks good, feels good and only thing I might change is it being easier to procure a set. 7.5/10

Some Line Items are not in Stock, however the re-stock at Seller Level takes a lengthy period; when you are buying the item as Gift with a Target Date…………The response on Status Inquiry is timely however the delivery date is still’ lengthy…….

looks beautiful, looks just like it does in the picture, thick leather, well made. it allows for very little wrist movement but i expected that from the picture and it feels great. the part that goes around the arm, is really wide and is not adjustable but it is really easy to make it smaller and adjustable if you know how to punch a hole in the leather, overall, i couldnt be happier with this!!

If you’re buying this for a boffer game such as Dagorhir or Belegarth, it will require some leather layering to get it to pass armor check; its too thin on its own to pass.
I had a problem with the hand strap, as some of the threading broke off during use, but was easily fixed with a rivet.

Not a bad gauntlet, fits well over most garb.

This gauntlet is pretty nice for what it is designed for. A nice idea & an attractive looking piece for your outfit. The leather is thicker & rigid. It does keep your hand & wrist in a mostly static position….like a loosely clenched fist to allow you to hold on to a shield strap or a weapon handle. Wrist movement is good for twisting side to side, but as mentioned before, bending your hand back is limited. I also recommend that you wear a glove with a cuff of some kind underneath this gauntlet. The leather will wear on your knuckles if you wear it for extended periods of time. Plus, it will help take up some of the extra room under the cuff of the gauntlet. I’m assuming that is why there is extra room there–to allow for shirt sleeves or bracers or whatever else might be on you that the gauntlet has to cover. If you want it to be tighter around your forearm, I feel it has the potential to be modified, if you have the skills to do that or if you know someone who has those skills. The construction seems pretty decent throughout, but the stitching that holds the finger strap to the gauntlet looks questionable. I saw that a previous reviewer had an issue with the threading, but was able to resolve the issue with relative ease. Good to know if I have the same problem. This item will provide pretty good protection for LARPing. But, beyond that, it serves as a decorative clothing accessory for your outfit. I purchased a Brown Left Handed gauntlet & will most likely get a complete Brown and Black set at some point. It certainly adds another dimension to your garb.

Very sturdy and even has a beautiful finish to go along with its excellent style. Although the edging can be a little rough on your fingers, it is still very much worth its price
