The chokuto sword was a style of Japanese sword from before the 9th century that is recreated and honored here in the Shinobi Chokuto. Handforged from T10 high-carbon steel, this polished sword features a straight, single-edged blade typical of chokuto swords. It features a medium-length tip, also called a chu-kissaki. In addition, the clay-tempered blade features a visible temper line. A temper line runs horizontally along the blade. This blade has a wide, straight temper line, called a hiro-suguha hamon.

The Shinobi Chokuto continues with a brass blade collar, or habaki, before a thick, square iron guard, or tsuba. Next, the sword has a wrapped grip. Black Japanese silk wraps around the white stingray skin.

This sword comes with a black wooden scabbard, or saya. The scabbard also has the black silk wrapping at the top. There is a hidden tanto in the scabbard. This tanto has a T10 high-carbon steel blade with the same style of temper line. Finally, the Shinobi Chokuto comes with a certificate of authenticity and a richly colored, embroidered sword bag. This sword is fully functional for reenactments and also features an elegant look.
