Shards Of Narsil with Display

The sword Narsil has a long history and importance in Middle Earth. The Shards Of Narsil with Display honor this legendary blade. There are six sword shards, following the Lord of the Rings film trilogy rather than the Tolkien novels. In both the films and books, the sword Narsil was once wielded by Elendil and Isildur before breaking while fighting against Sauron. Thus, it acquired the name of the Sword that was Broken. It would later be reforged for Aragon as the sword Anduril.

This set of sword shards is a licensed replica. The largest cast-metal shards are the hilt and the tip of the sword. The longsword shards come with a matching display stand. The stand replicates the display in the gallery at Rivendell in the film. It depicts an elven princess looking down at a shield. She wears a draped cloak fastened at the shoulder.

On the shield in front of the maiden, there is a blue cloth upon which the shards rest. In this 1/5 scale miniature version, the shards are completely removable from the shield. This allows you to place them how you prefer. Below the shield, there is a small plaque that reads The Lord of the Rings the Shards of Narsil.
