This bow, inspired by the recurve bows of rogues, assassins, and shadow rangers, is made from bamboo that’s been laminated. Laminate means it’s constructed with multiple layers of bamboo and fiberglass for added strength and durability. It’s not just sturdy, it’s also flexible and capable of a powerful draw.

This recurve fantasy bow is designed for epic LARP combat. Don’t forget to check with your organization for the draw weight requirements of your event beforehand. Please note this bow does not come with arrows.

True to its historical inspiration, this bow has several curves that bend the limbs away from the archer. This allows the bow to be powerful, yet nimble, letting it draw with strength without being too long. In the middle, the tapered handle is wrapped in leather and reinforced with a textured Micarta spacer at the top to secure your grip. This grip is ambidextrous, meaning it can accommodate a right or left-handed draw.

The limbs of the bow are also tipped with Micarta reinforcements. These Micarta tips act as a base for you to attach the included string. These limbs keep the string taut when attached. Each end of the string is striped for added detail. The string has an approximate draw weight of 25 pounds.
