Don’t let the price fool you! This is a very well made linen shirt. It is lightweight and will be perfect for hot days by itself but will also work great as an undertunic for those colder events. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely love this shirt. Bought a size larger than I usually get in case of any shrinking (which hasn’t been an issue anytime I’ve washed it in cold water and hung it to dry), and because the detailed measurements let me know that I’d need a large for my long arms. Love the feel of the fabric; it breathes really well, and it seems to get more comfortable with each wear. My first shirt unfortunately was tossed in the dryer and shrunk a bit, but it’s still wearable, and it gave me an excuse to buy another!

I’m very impressed by this shirt. It truly has the appearance of a shirt made & worn in the medieval times. The material is a little stiff when you first put it on, but I’m sure it will soften with use & proper washings. It would certainly be my 1st choice to wear this shirt at hot Ren Fests. The fabric reminds me of gauze, but with a tighter weave. It’s going to breathe really well out in the heat & humidity. The sizing information is accurate. My chest measures 42 – 43 inches with the tape measure, so I ordered the Large to have a looser fit. And, the shirt fit just fine & looks great, but was a little tight in the back when I went to wrap my arms forward as if I were trying to give someone a hug. I took off the shirt, measured it from armpit to armpit, & it was 22.5 inches wide–which works out to be a 45 inch chest. I’m thinking it’s because the linen fabric does not stretch like a basic, cotton T-shirt fabric does. I noticed this when I first went to put it on. I had to put my arms in the sleeves first & then pull it over my head. I will be buying more of these shirts & the next one I get will be an X-Large to give me a teensy bit more room (& some insurance in case it gets thrown into the dryer by mistake). Highly recommended.
