The item comes exactly as described. 18 gauge mild steel rivet chainmail rings with pre-made rivets for each ring. Arrived tightly packaged and protected, and came with a thin coating of machine oil so as to prevent rust. The oil was really appreciated honestly. The rivets are pre-made and well designed for use with riveting pliers. If you’re looking to repair some armor, or want to make riveted chainmail armor yourself without having to make the rings yourself, this is probably one of the best deals you’ll ever find. Price basically comes down to $1 for 100 rings (aka $10 for 1000). Considering I make riveted chainmail myself and know how much time and energy has to go into making riveted rings, that’s a hella good price.
Oh yea, for those who don’t know what 8mm translates into inches for internal diameter of the ring, that’s an 5/16” ID. Basically, perfect diameter. Not too big and not too small! Again, I highly recommend this product.
