If you wish to learn to play the bagpipes, you first need to learn to play a chanter. Check out the Red Cedar Long Practice Chanter. Made from red cedar, this practice chanter comes with a reed. It has an engraved, nickel-plated ferrule and sole. A sole is the bottom piece of a chanter. The chanter features a white mouthpiece. Also, the chanter has seven finger holes. These holes provide an octave range, from F to F sharp. With its quieter sound, this instrument works better for indoor practice than a full set of bagpipes. It comes apart for storage. This instrument is great for anyone who is interested in traditional Scottish music.

Please note that this is not perfectly tuned. Some modification of the hole diameter, possibly with wax, may be required by the user.

This item cannot be returned or exchanged.
