Made from hard EVA foam and coated with latex, this roleplaying shield possesses the strength and durability to get you through battle. Latex weapons need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a 100 ml LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) that can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. We recommend that you use this silicone on a regular basis. It will keep the coating flexible, which will make the weapon last much longer. The maintenance silicone also protects the coating from drying out and helps the weapon resist general wear and tear from normal use.

Just received this shield and the quality is immediately apparent! We also own foam shields intended for Dagorhir which were professionally manufactured. The straps on this shield blow every other shield out of the water. Easily adjustable and extremely solid with options to hold the shield in different orientations. The shield also provides a nice balance between flexibility for safety and rigidity so it can actually function as a shield (one of our sons already took a long sword to it!).
