Very nice item! Highly polished, well crafted, nicely detailed, sturdy, & is just the right size to hang from a necklace. Not too big, not too small. The lion’s head itself is just over an inch and a half long & over an inch wide. Extremely attractive, but doesn’t overpower. I thought it would be a solid piece of metal, but it’s hollowed out in the back. (Sigh.) If it were a solid piece, it might have been a bit too heavy to wear…possibly. But, the link at the top of the pendant (where the chain goes through) will do a good job of keeping the lion facing the right way–towards your admirers! I would definately buy this item again. No real regrets.
