Peter Duemler Lion Beer Stein

The top and bottom of the black glazed body of this stein are decorated with 2 hand-painted, gold-leaf bands. However, the focal point of this Peter Duemler Lion Beer Stein is the raised-relief pewter band in the center. Three separately cast deep relief pewter lion heads with rings in their mouths are attached to the pewter band. A wrap-around pewter border decoration of eagles, serpents, and lions completes the body design. On top of the ornate pewter lid is a pewter winged lion figurine. This stein is produced in a worldwide edition limit of 5,000 pieces. Each piece is registered and individually numbered.
