Some armour designs were nearly universal across Europe during the Middle Ages. The Norse Steel Spangenhelm recreates one of the most common helmets. This 18 gauge steel helmet has the distinctive nasal guard and a polished finish. Steel strips cross the top of the cap and line the bottom edge. Rivets join the strips and the nasal guard to the base.
The Viking helmet attaches to the wearer with a leather head strap that adjusts with a buckle. Also, on the inside, the helmet has an adjustable drawstring liner. It allows you to choose how high or low the helmet sits on your head. This medieval helmet is wonderful for historical reenactments or cosplay events.
This item is handmade, therefore, it may vary slightly from what is shown above.

This is a solid helmet. It looks and feels functional. It’s also a bit large. It’s wide and the nose pieces sits well away from the face.
It has a padded interior support if you want to wear it, but unless you have a large head or a lot of hair, you may want to wear additional layers under it to fill out your profile and make it more secure.

very solid and comfortable. a little on the heavy side

It’s a nice, solid helmet that fits really well. It’s got stuff on the inside to adjust the fit to a degree and I really like that there’s the chin strap. It’s also got a decent weight to it- not enough to be an issue, but if you’re expecting something light and flimsy, this isn’t that. Only “complaint” I have about it is how far out from the face the nose piece sits, although as someone who needs glasses, it is rather convenient
