I really love this cloak! It’s exactly what I was looking for. It fits great and has plenty of room. I’m 5’7” with longer legs and the back just covers my butt and the front hits where I’m able to bend my arms. The good is really big but I don’t plan on wearing it anyway. The buttons work great!

Warm and comfy. I’ve been using it for a few months and it’s holding up well

  3. SilentN (verified owner)

I haven’t had the cloak for long but my impressions of it so far have been very positive. It’s warm, functional, and looks really cool to wear! I haven’t had the chance to test it in the snow or rain yet, but it does shield you well from the wind and sun.

Got this cloak in grey, and am very pleased with it! Wards off the wind well and is rather warm, which will come in handy during the winter months.

  5. Chop (verified owner)

It’s a little long for me but very dramatic. It’s well made, seems like it will be very warm and cozy.

Should be noted that it had a bit of a smell when it first arrived. Nothing terrible, just like it had been in a plastic bag for a while. Easily removed by leaving it to air out for a day.

Got this cloak for my son as part of a Halloween costume. Super good quality, great look, we are very excited!

  7. JUDY SANDERS (verified owner)

Rather heavyweight, fits stocky me with “give”. I do believe I love it. “Baumwolle” is in with the cotton, so it’s like a thick canvas but moveable.

  8. Amy Short (verified owner)

The quality is outstanding! Color is like the darker image on the website. Size is a bit big for me. I’m 5’6” and medium weight. The front hangs well below my elbows and the back covers my bottom. Still love it!

  9. Sara Rickert (verified owner)

Super impressed with the quality of this cloak! I wish I could add pictures to my review. It’s definitely not “costume” quality, the canvas is really really nice. As far as the fit, I’m very plus sized and very blessed in the bosom, and it’s great! If you’re on the fence, jump off! You really can’t beat it for the price. I can’t wait to add it to my Renaissance garb!

Very nice, it is of course shorter but I got it for that reason. Good quality

Sturdy cotton canvas, nice pleated shoulder design. The high-low design allows for easier access to your weaponry while still keeping you warm. I’m looking forward to wearing this in cooler weather.

I got this cloak for my wife; she needed a shorter cloak than the Aaron cloaks I enjoy. It is just as well made of the same quality canvas without being too heavy or bulky. She loves it!

  13. Danimal (verified owner)

Great half-length cloak for adults. Very similar in design to the Aaron cloak, though the hood seems to have a slightly longer point to it. It could probably work great as a cloak for children too, though the shoulders could be a bit large.

I irdered the green cloak, everything about it says green but it definitely looks grey. Unfortunately I need it for tomarrow, and payed for the 2 day shipping

The Con: Like someone else mentioned, the green is not that rich hunter green shown in the photos, it is more of a light-medium grey color with green undertones.

The rest: Despite being the wrong color for what I wanted, the cloak has plenty of room with a large hood. Sturdy canvas cotton material. The cloak fits both me (5’6″ 127lbs female) and my husband (6′ 172lbs male) perfectly. Really great as a shorter cloak to keep your legs free and the high-low cut keeps it from getting in the way of my hands. I just wish the green was actually green, but I will buy other colors.

Not seeing the reasoning behind the “its not green enough, looks more like a grey color” complaint. Sure, its not incredibly vibrant but its still green. Weird nitpick that this good quality cloak doesn’t deserve. With that out of the way, I can say that the color is nice, the fabric is thick enough to function as an actual cloak and not just part of a costume (no flimsy costume quality in the slightest) and even though I am of smaller stature, the size is good. The back reaches exactly at my knees, the front reach right above my elbows, and the hood is more than enough to cover my head. The button at the neck has nice decoration and there’s two different holes to put it in place. Might consider buying another color, but I love the green too much. This cloak is my favorite part of my renaissance garb !

As good of quality as the Aaron cloaks, although it is a little long on me (5’4” F). It was two buttons on one side of the neck for different tightness, and one loop on the other side. Unfortunately the first button came off immediately after I put it on the first time. A few days later I put it on the second button and that one fell off too. It’s an easy fix for me and I hope it was a fluke. Heads up to Mytholon to check their button quality. Great cloak!

I have owned this cloak (green) for a year now and can’t say that I have ever had a better one. Everything about it has held up wonderfully this past year. The canvas was stiff at first, but took no time to break in and give the flow a more natural feel while wearing it. Long enough to help keep you warm during the cold days, short enough to stay cool during the warm season, and once treated with water repellent works wonders against the rain. I will definitely be ordering another one soon.

Bought this for my wife. She loves it, the length is exactly what she was wanting and loves how deep the hood is. Very strong fabric and well made. Will have to treat with water repellent and I’m sure it’ll be a daily wear for her.

  20. vrf19977 (verified owner)

Pros: Very well made, sturdy, rustic-looking, perfect length (falls to my elbows in the front and past my butt in the back), and quite warm in colder weather.
Cons: Warm becomes HOT very quickly if it’s not cold outside. Definitely not a summer piece, it is weighty and thick. The weight of the hood makes it pull towards the back constantly so I’m forever tugging it down as it presses against my throat. If I could find a hoodless version, I’d snag one.

Exactly as described on the tin.
