The Mounted Spanish Knight in 16th Century Armor Statue, by Marto, wears a suit of Spanish armor that is a reproduction of the suits that once belonged to Charles V and Philip II, which are a part of the collection, Real Armeria, in Madrid. The armor is constructed of polished steel, characterized by floral figures etched onto much of the armor, while several of the pieces composing the armor are plated in 24K gold. The knight rides a horse harnessed with an elaborate polished steel armor plated with 24K gold and a rich red fabric caparison ornamented with flower motifs. Also provided with this knight statue is a jousting lance and a wood platform all in all, this Spanish Knight statue makes an excellent decor piece, not to mention a wonderful conversation piece.
