Morgause Gambeson – Brown

Made from cotton, this medieval womens gambeson comes in three sizes. It has a short collar and long, removable sleeves. The sleeves are not attached at the armpits for unhindered arm movement. Also, the brown gambeson ends at the thighs.

Next, the gambeson ties in front with brass-tipped laces. They run through black rings. There is also lacing along the sides that runs through loops, which helps with adjusting the fit. The chest of the gambeson features diamond-shaped quilting. Both sleeves also have diamond quilting, except at their cuffs.

The waist of the medieval arming wear has horizontal quilting, while the thighs have vertical quilting. Meanwhile, the sleeve cuffs have straight quilting perpendicular to the arms. In addition, there is black trim at the ends of the sleeves.

Overall, the quilted gambeson has two layers, making it lighter and more comfortable without sacrificing protection. It is also open past the waist in the front and back for greater mobility.
