The plate has an opening for the mouth as well as two for the eyes. There is a central ridge that begins at the nose and continues to the back of the helmet. This ornately detailed helmet has multiple pieces of imagery across the helmet as well as brass-colored accents. The helmet rests on a black platform that reads SUTTON HOO. I was actually watching Mystic Britain about Sutton Hoo as I came across this statuette and had to get it for my wife, and she loves it. Not much else to report except that is exactly like the pictures show. Personally, I would have made the words silver to match, but that’s just my preference.
